Marks career path goes from being an Engineer to an Executive in various technologies. He has grown a multinational semiconductor company in Canada, with sales of $20 to $200 million per year. He has been the Vice President of two technology startups (with exits), the lead for Transformative Technologies at Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE), and a CEO of intelliFLEX, an alliance of 130 innovative companies and now is SVP of Inovex.
Mark is a catalyst for change, and commercialization and a passionate innovator that enjoys building successful creative teams, collaborative ecosystems and designing strategic plans. He brings extensive business and finance experience, with highly developed analytical skills and an inventive conceptual thinker. He is known for engaging effectively across complex organizational structures; creating and mobilizing multiple collaborators to integrate technical concepts into commercial products, and; developing innovative approaches to policies, strategies and business challenges.
He has commercialized innovation at transformative companies like Amazon, Tesla, Google, Philips Healthcare, Rockwell, Siemens, Medtronics, Microsoft, P&G, Eaton, Eli Lilly, Ford, etc.
He also is a volunteer mentor at RICs and McMaster and a recognized public speaker at seminars, academia, governments and other organizations.on innovation and technology.
